WPC (Wood plastic composite) decking is increasingly popular with the public because of its excellent environmental performance and durable characteristics. In order to ensure that the WPC decking is always in good condition and extend its service life, proper maintenance is essential.
After the installation is complete, clean the installation in time. Use soap, hot water and a stiff brush to remove dirt and residue from the decking. For the imprint on the side of the plastic wood floor, it can be gently wiped with alcohol or acetone.
During daily cleaning, ordinary floor cleaners or cleaners containing bleach (sodium hypochlorite) and detergents should be avoided to prevent damage to the floor. If oil stains appear on the floor, they should be removed immediately with household degreaser and then washed with hot water. When encountering areas with chalk marks, if the colored chalk marks are extremely stubborn and difficult to remove, consider using white chalk or talcum powder to cover them. When ice and calcium chloride or rock salt melt on the floor, products can be purchased at most home care stores. Once the ice starts to melt, be sure to rinse it off promptly.
To remove ink stains, wash with hot, soapy water, followed by a thorough wash. If dirt and rust are present on the floor, use a cleaning product containing oxalic acid or phosphoric acid, which will help to reduce the stain and may even remove it completely. Pigmentation pollution caused by weathering of the floor can be treated with ordinary anti-rust agents. In the face of wine stains and fruit stains, according to the instructions on the bleach package, add bleach to hot water, gently wipe the stain and then rinse with hot water.
The correct maintenance method can make the WPC decking always glow with a new luster, adding more comfort and beauty to our lives.
